07.11.25 - Camping Benches
We quickly found that customers see at eye level before anything else and we started off with single camping benches, perfect if you only want one per 6 foot table but as they come in different sizes we found ones that would fit 2 per 6 foot table.
HOWEVER.......
After about a year, we came across the double folding benches for around £22 each. These fold to the size of a single bench with a carry handle and fit across a 6 foot table with an inch spare. Since purchasing 1, we came across a 2 pack at a steal for around £41 So we have 3 of the 6 foot tables and 3 double camping benches to maximise our selling space.

So to all the newbies out there, our best advice is to look around the markets and enquire about the stall itself, ask all the questions you need and check them out before buying. There may be stall holders looking to upgrade and you will be able to purchase sturdy 2nd hand equipment for a fraction of the new price.
If buying online, search for foldable camping benches, etc and check the weight of the frames, the thickness and waterproofing quality of the material.
Good luck, get out there and showcase your creations!!!

03.10.25 - Gazebo's
I have noticed quite a few newbies asking about stalls in various social media groups so I thought I would post a gazebo blog seeing as ours is resting for the weekend hiding away from Storm Amy.
Starduzt Jewellery started off with a steel pop up gazebo, no frills but galvanised frame so they don't rust. It lasted well and resold for a new life when we upgraded, due to booking lots of outside venues, I needed one that would survive the great British weather.
We now have a BH Commercial Grade, lower end of the market 3m x 3m and we paid around £250 for a full kit but it's been brilliant. I can't say it wouldn't be battered in this weekend's storm but its definitely seen it's fare share of 30-40mph gusts and lives to tell the tale.
There are other brands and Hex models which are super sturdy and you can pay around £600 for one that the wolf wont be able to blow down but check out the gazebos in the link below for deals on a good starter 3mx3m from around £170.

Oh and we would recommend to use 25k sand/pebble filled weights or the iron weights and storm straps where possible. We learn new things at every event - the latest windy festival lesson was to strap from the middle straight down and apply centre weights.
Good luck, get out there and sell your creations !!!
